Mixed Berry Cocktail

Updated: Jan 8, 2019

When it comes to cocktails, I’m more of a mocktail kind of gal since I’m not a big drinker to begin with.  If I choose to have a cocktail, I prefer to drink a fruity one so I don’t taste too much of the alcohol.  Most fruity cocktail drinks are made with artificial fruit flavors and excess sugar making them high in calories.

You won’t find any artificial ingredients in this recipe.  This berry cocktail recipe is made with real ingredients such as fresh blueberries and strawberries as well as freshly squeezed lime and orange juice.  I used a sauvignon blanc wine to make it a cocktail but if you are not a drinker you can omit the wine and drink it as a mocktail.

This #BerryDelish cocktail recipe is my submission for the 2017 Wish Farms Berry Delish recipe contest that coincides with the 2017 Food Wine Conference (#FWCon).  If you are not familiar with the Food Wine Conference it is a conference for food bloggers that is held annually at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, FL.

Food bloggers from around the country gather to meet other bloggers and learn the latest trends in the world of blogging.  Topics about growing your social media following, how to properly use search engine optimization to increase your website’s traffic, learning how to work with brands, and food photography are just some of the skills bloggers have the opportunity to learn more about during this conference.

You can read more about what is expected at this year’s Food Wine Conference in an earlier blog post I wrote here.

The conference takes place from May 19-21, 2017.  I have attended this conference for the last two years and will be attending this year as well.  I had so much fun at this conference that I know for sure that this year will be just as much fun, if not more.  I am also excited to be a Brand Ambassador this year.  Be sure to follow me on social media as I will be posting updates throughout the conference.

This contest is sponsored by Wish Farms who is also one of the sponsors of the conference.  Wish Farms specializes in growing strawberries and blueberries in Florida.  It is a family owned company that offers the highest quality of berries.  You can find Wish Farm berries in many supermarkets throughout the US.  To find the nearest supermarket that carries Wish Farm berries click here.

Don’t drink this cocktail too fast because it will creep up on you and give you a little buzz faster than you expect.  I’m speaking from experience since I got buzzed just after taking a few sips of this drink while I was testing this recipe but the cocktail is very tasty!
